Pray About It.
You only experience Cursillo once in your lifetime. While you can sponsor others, you participate in the process only once per person. With this in mind, pray about the right timing for you to begin this journey. We hold sessions twice a year for men and women, in spring and fall. If you've recently experienced a significant life event, consider returning to revisit Cursillo in six months or the following year.

3-Day Weekend
Fee
Expenses
While there is a fee for the weekend—we hope to offer this free of charge someday—but for now, we have expenses to cover, including the facility, food, and other costs.
But if finances are a concern and are stopping you from attending a Cursillo, please don't worry! We’re more than happy to offer financial assistance to help make it possible for you. Just let us know how much you can contribute toward your weekend, and our pre-cursillo team will do their best to assist with the rest.
If you've already experienced Cursillo and would like to support others in their journey, please visit our “give” page to lend a hand. You can also click the button here to go directly to that page.

Who Will Be Your
Find A Sponsor.
Think of your sponsor as a cherished friend—someone who might be a familiar face, a new acquaintance, or even someone you haven't met yet but would love to know better. And don’t worry if you haven't picked someone out yet! We have many friendly Cursillistas eager to support you, whether by sponsoring you directly or helping you find the perfect person.
Remember, your sponsor needs to be an active Cursillista. Their role is special—they'll help you prepare for the weekend, guide you through your group reunion, and introduce you to the warm community at Ultreya. They’re here to help make your experience welcoming and inspiring.

What Should I
Bring?
Get Ready for Your Weekend.
Take a moment to pray for your upcoming weekend. Include those who will be part of your plans. If possible, try to keep your schedule open for work and family commitments so you can fully enjoy the experience and be present with whatever unfolds.
Comfort items might include cozy clothing and your attire for Mass. You may also find it helpful to bring a water bottle or beverage tumbler.
We'll provide food and drinks to keep you energized and refreshed. If you have a favorite snack or beverage, there's limited space in the refrigerator for cold items and some space in the kitchenette for other items.
Cellphones and digital devices are best left aside, as they can distract from the meaningful experience and the purpose of your time here.
For emergencies, rest assured—our phone service and cell signal are reliable.
It might be helpful to bring a watch or clock to remind you of important times or to wake up in time.
On a regular weekend getaway, you might enjoy bringing a book or a hobby. However, for this special time, I recommend focusing fully on the day's discussions, prayer, and talks. Being present in prayer, in silence, or in Adoration before our Lord will make your experience even more meaningful.
What Should I
Expect?
Blessfully Busy Expectations
As we mentioned earlier, this isn’t a time for leisure activities like reading or hobbies. You can look forward to days that are thoughtfully organized to help you connect with others and yourself, with limited free time. But rest assured, the days will be lively and full of energy and enthusiasm for our Lord and your fellow travelers.
You’ll enjoy delicious meals, snacks, and drinks, and a cozy room to rest in. To give everyone the space they need for reflection and peace, sharing rooms isn’t recommended during this time. When you head back to your room at night, it’s a great idea to unwind and relax.
Remember, the team supporting you has put so much love and effort into preparing for this moment. They've been praying for your success and truly wish you all the best on this exciting journey. Even if you’re coming with a close friend or buddy, consider taking some time on your own to experience this moment personally. It’s a wonderful opportunity for you to grow and reflect on your own.
The support doesn't stop there—there's an entire organization and many others who have traveled this journey before you, all praying for your success and ready to support those feeling called to participate in a Cursillo Weekend.
